Who we are
Phix Pro (Phix Professionals) is run by Gavin Southworth, a sole trader based in Horwich, Bolton (BL6), UK. Gavin is the data controller. Contact: gav@phix.pro.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email, property address and job details (including any photos) when you contact us or book work; and, for tradespeople, details you send when applying. The website may collect basic technical data (IP address, browser) via cookies and server logs.
Why we use it (lawful basis under UK GDPR)
- To respond to enquiries and quote (steps before a contract).
- To carry out and invoice work (contract).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To run and secure the website (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without consent.
Who we share it with
Only where needed: Phix Professionals carrying out your job, our accountant, HMRC, and service providers such as our web host (Fasthosts) and email provider.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t go ahead: up to 12 months. Customer and job records: 6 years after the work for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, object to processing, or ask for a copy. Email gav@phix.pro. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
